Our Team

Born and raised in Swartz Creek, Michigan, Dr. Zerka earned his undergraduate degrees in Neuroscience and Psychology from Michigan State University before completing his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Michigan in 2024.

Dr. Zerka’s passion for dentistry began in childhood and solidified in college when he learned how smiles connect people across cultures. For him, dentistry is the perfect blend of medicine, engineering, teaching, and art, offering the opportunity to help patients share their happiness through healthy, beautiful smiles.

Outside of work, Dr. Zerka enjoys attending Michigan State football and basketball games, playing golf and volleyball, and cooking big Lebanese dinners with his family.

Amy has spent more than 25 years in medical and dental practice management, with her primary focus on finances. In addition, she stays busy doing bookkeeping for other companies and holds an active real estate license.

When not busy with her children’s activities, Amy enjoys volunteering. She’s on the board of education in Milan, is a founding member of a community LGBTQ task force, and on the board of directors for Homeschoolers of Ann Arbor. One of her bucket list items includes a ride along with the Blue Angels.

Meghan has been involved in some form of dentistry for over 25 years. The best part of her job at Kimberly A. Rice, DDS, is getting to know our patients and creating meaningful bonds through the years.

In her free time, Meghan enjoys camping, reading, and spending time with friends and family.

Dianna helps our Ypsilanti, MI dental office run smoothly. While she’s part of our Michigan family here at Kimberly A. Rice, DDS, she’s originally from Brooklyn, NY, where she was born.

In her free time, Dianna likes reading and completing word search puzzles. Her favorite quote is, “Your past does not define who you are today.”

Katie chose dentistry because she likes to see people happy with their smiles. Growing up, she loved dental visits, and her dentist inspired her to join the field.

Outside of the office, Katie enjoys reading, being outdoors, and spending time with her family. A fun fact about Katie is that she was born and raised in Kodiak Island, Alaska.

Beth has been practicing dental hygiene for over 30 years. She loves motivating patients to take charge of their oral health, which leads to better overall health. The best part of her job is the “ah-ha!” moment when patients understand this oral-systemic link.

In her free time, Beth enjoys spending time with her family and tries to get away once a year to visit her oldest daughter, who lives in Dubai. Her favorite word is “Perseverance.” It’s a reminder that no matter how tough things get in life, if you push through with determination, you will persevere.
